This Privacy Policy explains how AbbariStudio ("OurFit," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the OurFitmobile apps, website, and related services (together, the "Service"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. AbbariStudio is the data controller responsible for your information. We designed OurFit to collect as little personal data as possible while still helping you train with good form.

By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. This Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address (or the identifier from Sign in with Apple) and profile details you choose to add, such as height, weight, and training goals used to personalize coaching.
  • Workout videos. When you record a set for analysis, the app captures video on your device. Wherever the platform allows, pose analysis runs on your device and the raw video is not uploaded to our servers. If a feature requires cloud processing, we tell you before it happens.
  • Pose & form data. From your video we derive numeric body-position data (joint landmarks, angles, rep segmentation) and results such as your form score and detected faults. This may constitute health-related data in some jurisdictions, which we treat with extra care.
  • Usage & device data. App interactions, feature usage, crash logs, device model, OS version, language, approximate region derived from IP, and similar diagnostics that keep the Service reliable.
  • Purchase data. When you subscribe, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never your full payment card details.
  • Communications. If you contact us, we keep your messages and contact details to respond and for our records.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide the core Service — analyzing your form and returning scores, cues, and history.
  • Personalize coaching and recommendations based on the goals and metrics you provide.
  • Maintain, secure, debug, prevent fraud, and improve the Service.
  • Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not"share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use your workout videos to train third-party advertising models.

3. Video & on-device processing

Your videos are the most sensitive data the Service touches, so we treat them accordingly. Pose estimation is performed on your device wherever the platform allows. Videos are not shared with other users and are not published anywhere by us. You can delete recorded videos and saved checks from within the app at any time.

4. Cookies & analytics

Our website uses strictly necessary cookies to function and may use limited, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. We honor recognized opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where legally required. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information under these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); your consent (where required — for example for optional analytics or processing of health-related data); and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.

6. How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it only for us. These may include:

  • Cloud hosting and database providers that store your account and saved results.
  • Authentication providers (such as Apple) used to sign you in.
  • Subscription and analytics providers used to manage entitlements and understand usage.
  • The Apple App Store and Google Play for processing purchases.

We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to protect our rights and the safety of users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will notify you).

7. Data retention

We keep account information and saved results for as long as your account is active. When you delete a check, it is removed from your history; when you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations, or to resolve disputes.

8. Your rights & choices

  • Use the app in guest mode, without creating an account, where available.
  • Access, correct, port, or export the personal data associated with your account.
  • Delete individual checks, your history, or your entire account.
  • Withdraw consent for optional processing (such as analytics) at any time.
  • If you are in the EEA/UK, you have rights under the GDPR — including to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
  • If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA — including to know, delete, and correct your information, and to opt out of sale/sharing (note: we do not sell or share your data). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to safeguard your data. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and any regulators as required by law.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by your local law (for example, under 13 in the United States or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
